As Healthy as a Trout is a translation from the Gaelic proverb “Cho fallain ri breac”. Shows the island of Jura – well known for the health and vigour of its trout and salmon. One side shows the island – the other the highly folded Dalradian rocks formed both by sedimentary and volcanic action 540 million years ago – now laid out in wiggly bands of white and grey. They might equally represent waves of sea water.
